Earthing

I stretched
Felt the void
And breathed deeply

It awoke
And yearned for more
Which I gave in ecstasy

And as it was satisfied
I felt the warmth on my skin
The ground beneath my body
And spread myself further

Moaning
While I questioned why I ever stepped away
Sinking deeper
Expanding into the earth’s embrace.
